“I have learned countless lessons both academic and spiritual in nature. Higher education in nursing not only gives us the opportunity to positively influence those in our communities, but through education and leadership we empower others to do the same. When I set out to become a nurse, my goal was to improve others’ situations by showing them the hope we have in Christ. This program has furthered my opportunities to pursue the why behind becoming a nurse. These lessons will guide us as we begin our careers as nurse leaders and educators.”
