Charleston Southern University is located in the center of the Charleston metro area. Charleston, South Carolina, has been voted the No. 1 destination in the world by top travel publications. The Lowcountry is known for its culture, architecture and historical sites, gorgeous beaches, food scene, and stunning sunsets.

Just down the road from CSU is Wannamaker Park, featuring walking trails, paddle boat rentals and Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark. Free activities include visiting Marion Square and Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston, Azalea Park in Summerville, Riverfront Park in North Charleston, the Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant, and much more.
